Welcome to Reach Out Central- an online game designed to help you improve and learn new life skills. Right now we're looking for young Australians aged 18-25 years who want to be amongst the first to test-drive the game and be part of an online evaluation.

What's in it for you? Prizes! When you sign up to help out with the evaluation we'll ask you to fill in 3 short surveys along the way. Each survey only takes about fifteen minutes. What's in it for Reach Out Central? We want to hear what you think about the game play and if the skills you used in R.O.C came in handy in real life. Topics you'll play through in R.O.C include; making new friends, peer pressure, stress, anxiety, drug use, self confidence and anger management. If your time in R.O.C helps you address those issues in real life then we really want to know.

Reach Out! member terms
  1. Before registering as a member of Reach Out! you must agree to these member terms and conditions ("Member Terms"). The Member Terms are designed to ensure that your use of the Reach Out! site as a member does not break any laws.
  2. By clicking the "I ACCEPT" button, you agree to be bound by the Member Terms, as well as any other terms and conditions displayed on the Reach Out! site. If there is an inconsistency between the Member Terms and any other Reach Out! terms and conditions, the Member Terms prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
  3. You must not disclose your user name or password to any person. You must take all reasonable steps to keep your user name and password secure so that it is not copied or used by any person. You must immediately notify Reach Out! if you become aware that another person has used your user name or password. Upon receipt of notification of use by another person, Reach Out! will deactivate your user name and password, and you will be required to create a new user name and password.
  4. As a member of Reach Out!, you must not submit, post or upload any material which:
    1. is inappropriate, offensive or contrary to any applicable laws or standards. This includes, without limitation, material which:
      1. is obscene or indecent; depicts violence, sexual activity or pornography; or contains instructions in crime or drug use;
      2. defames, harasses, abuses or offends any person; or
      3. infringes the copyright or intellectual property rights of any person; or
    2. contains a virus or other code that has harmful or destructive properties.
  5. Reach Out! will not access, monitor your use of, or disclose your member journal except:
    1. to investigate possible breaches of the Member Terms;
    2. if a law requires or authorises the use or disclosure of your member journal; or
    3. if disclosure is reasonably necessary to enable an enforcement body to perform its function, including:
      1. the prevention, detection, investigation, prosecution or punishment of criminal offences; and
      2. the preparation for, or conduct of, proceedings before any court or tribunal, or implementation of the orders of a court or tribunal.
      Reach Out! may in its discretion monitor and review all other material which you submit to the site.
  6. Reach Out! may, at any time, without notice to you, filter, remove or refuse to post files, content or other material which it considers in its discretion to be in breach of clause 4 of the Member Terms. Reach Out! may also by written notification terminate your membership and suspend your access to the member sections of the site if you breach the Member Terms.
  7. You are solely responsible for any material which you post or upload on the site, or which is posted by another person using your user name or password. Reach Out! excludes all liability (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss, damage or expenses suffered by you or claims made against you arising from material which you post or upload on the site, or which is posted by another person using your user name or password.
  8. Reach Out! will take reasonable steps to ensure the security and confidentiality of material which you post or upload onto the site. However, we cannot guarantee against all loss, damage, alteration or misuse of the material, and will not be responsible for any harm that you or any other person may suffer in connection with any loss, damage, alteration or misuse of material posted or uploaded onto the site.
  9. Reach Out! may impose limits on the size of files uploaded by members into their member journals. Reach Out! may also filter, remove or refuse to post files which interfere with the technical operations of the Reach Out! network, including files which threaten to overload or crash a system.
  10. The Member Terms, your use of the site and any disputes between you and Reach Out! will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the site is not prohibited and complies with your local laws.
  11. We may vary any of the Member Terms at any time by placing a notice on the site advising that the Member Terms have changed. You will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to the revised Member Terms if you continue to use any member section of the site after notice of the revised Member Terms has been placed on the site.
